I understand that deciding to start coaching can feel uncertain, especially if you’re not sure how it works or whether it’s right for you. Below, you’ll find answers to common questions to make things feel more approachable and transparent. My goal is to make this experience as straightforward and supportive as possible, to help you find a path forward that feels right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Do you offer single sessions?
Single coaching sessions are available only for continuing clients who have completed a Coaching Path. While an initial session, such as the Insight & Strategy Session, can provide clarity and a sense of my approach, meaningful change takes time and consistency. Coaching Paths are designed to support this by allowing us to address your challenges thoroughly and with continuity, ensuring we build momentum toward your goals. These paths also provide a discounted rate for committing to multiple sessions, making it a more effective and cost-efficient choice for creating the positive change you're seeking.
  • What are Coaching Paths?
Each Coaching Path is individualized and includes: For new clients, a 60-minute Discovery Session to explore your challenges and desired outcomes over the course of working together. A series of 90-minute coaching sessions tailored to your desired outcomes. Perspectives, guidance, and insights specific to you and your situation. Techniques like EFT, and if appropriate, Matrix Reimprinting and intuitive healing facilitation, customized to address your specific needs. Support and guidance between sessions, such as suggested practices or check-ins. Coaching Paths provide focused and consistent support as we work together and build on each session. Each path and session is personalized to meet your unique needs and priorities, giving us the space to address your challenges thoughtfully and effectively while remaining flexible if new concerns arise. This approach helps create a steady rhythm over time, ensuring that our work feels supportive, natural, and aligned with what matters most to you.
  • How often are sessions scheduled?
The frequency of our sessions is tailored to your needs and where you are in the coaching process. For new clients, weekly sessions are recommended to establish consistency and provide ongoing support. As we continue working together and depending on your needs, sessions can be spaced out to every two weeks or longer. This flexibility ensures that coaching fits your schedule and effectively supports you.
  • How are desired outcomes set in coaching, and are they flexible?
In coaching, we work together to identify what you’d like to experience differently or address in your life. These desired outcomes give us a sense of direction and focus, ensuring that our time together is tailored to what’s most important to you. They are not fixed or rigid but can shift and evolve as our work progresses. If something immediate or pressing comes up for you, we can adjust our focus to meet your needs in the moment. Coaching is always a flexible and personalized process.
  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
Life happens, and sometimes you may need to adjust your schedule. You can reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice using the link in your session confirmation email or by contacting me directly. For best results, I encourage rescheduling for the next earliest time to maintain the momentum of our work. Repeated short-notice cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the session, so clients are asked to provide advance notice whenever possible.
  • What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching focuses on supporting you in creating positive change in your life and addressing specific challenges in the present and future. In my coaching, we often reflect on past experiences, but always with the intention of addressing your current situation and helping you move in the direction you want to go. The process is forward-focused and personalized to your needs. Therapy, on the other hand, often takes a deeper dive into past experiences and includes diagnosing, treating, and managing mental health conditions. It also helps individuals develop self-awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and provides tools for managing mental health and emotional well-being. These insights can complement coaching by providing a solid foundation for self-discovery and personal growth. In my coaching practice, I often work with the emotional and energetic aspects of your experiences — especially those that may feel unresolved or difficult to overcome through talking or mindset-focused approaches alone. Using a holistic modality like EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), I support sensitive and empathic individuals in processing deeply felt emotions and experiences in a gentle, effective way. This approach can complement or build upon other modalities, offering a unique pathway to clarity and forward movement.
  • When is therapy recommended over coaching?
As a coach, I cannot diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If your emotional challenges are highly dysregulating or causing significant daily dysfunction, I encourage you to seek therapy first if you haven't already, or concurrently. If there’s uncertainty about whether coaching is appropriate, we can explore this during the Insight & Strategy Session.
  • What are my responsibilities as a client?
Success in coaching depends on your active participation. Between sessions, you’ll have agreed-upon homework, such as self-tapping exercises, reflective practices, or self-care activities. It’s essential to stay engaged, communicate openly, and come prepared to sessions in a quiet, distraction-free environment, and with something to take notes on.
  • What is included in the client agreement?
The client agreement outlines the terms of our work together, including confidentiality, session structure, scheduling, cancellations, and the scope of my coaching practice. It ensures clarity about what to expect and the responsibilities we both have during the coaching process. This agreement is provided to prospective clients before they decide to purchase a Coaching Path, so you have all the necessary information upfront. My aim is to create a safe and transparent framework for our work together.
  • Is my information confidential?
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our work together. All sessions are private, and your information is kept secure. I will not share any details about your sessions without your written consent, except in the following situations: You instruct me in writing to share information with another practitioner. If collaboration with your healthcare provider is necessary for your safety and success, I may request written approval from you or your provider. I may discuss general, anonymous details with a mentor to ensure the best care for you while protecting your identity. Legal obligations, such as imminent harm to yourself or others, may require disclosure. Your personal file is securely stored and destroyed after seven years of inactivity. My practice follows state and federal confidentiality laws and the standards set by EFT International.
  • What are your fees and payment options?
My fees vary depending on the Coaching Path you choose. Coaching Paths provide a discounted rate for committing to multiple sessions. Payment plans are also available to make this investment in your growth more accessible and manageable. During our Follow-Up Conversation, we can discuss what options works best for you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions or concerns about payment options.
  • Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are not typically provided, as committing to a Coaching Path fosters emotional and financial investment in the process. However, if it becomes clear that your needs are outside my scope of practice, I will pause or terminate our work and refund the value of any unused sessions. Unexpected circumstances preventing completion of a Coaching Path will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • What if I’m not sure coaching is right for me?
The Insight & Strategy Session is a great way to explore whether coaching aligns with your needs. This session provides a taste of how I work and allows us to assess if coaching is the right approach for your needs. If it becomes clear during our initial conversations that another type of care would better serve you, I’ll support you in finding the appropriate resources.
  • How do I know you're the right coach for me?
As a sensitive and empathic person myself, I know how important it is to work with someone who truly gets you — someone with whom you feel comfortable, safe, and supported. That sense of being deeply understood is essential for creating positive changes and moving forward in ways that feel right for you. The Insight & Strategy Session is a great way for us to connect and see if we’re a good fit. You’ll have the chance to share what’s on your mind, and you'll walk away from the session gaining some new insights on your situation and starting points for navigating them. At the same time, you'll get a sense about who and how I am and whether you might enjoy working with me. Please note that I won't talk about the coaching process unless you ask, to keep the session focused on your needs. To learn more about me, feel free to visit my Facebook, Instagram, blog, or HSP Conversations on YouTube, where I share insights and explore the unique challenges of sensitive and empathic individuals like us.
